Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rick Dynamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dynamo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sunrise (Here I Am) by Matt Davey feat. Kate Dowman. Hill comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Its Raining Men kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kenny Hill struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenny Hill!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill has managed to clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hill as Dynamo tries to tie him up.
Hill tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hill keeps control of Dynamo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dynamo trying to land knees to the body.
Dynamo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hill.
Dynamo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dynamo trying to control the position but instead, Hill has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dynamo into the cage.
Hill wants to take the fight to the mat but Dynamo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Rick Dynamo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Hill.
Hill wants a takedown but no success here.
Hill prevents the takedown attempt.

Dynamo fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Hill breaks the clinch.
Dynamo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hill lunges at Dynamo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dynamo's hand.
Dynamo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horrible takedown by Dynamo or perhaps it was just good defense by Hill which made him look bad.
Dynamo fails with the takedown.
Dynamo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Dynamo clinches up with Hill and pushes him back against the cage.

Hill breaks the clinch.
Dynamo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dynamo on the wrong end of a nice jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dynamo slips under a jab from Hill.
Dynamo shoots in and drives through. Hill sprawls well.
Dynamo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hill's waist but Hill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dynamo off to one side.
Dynamo misses with a head kick.
Hill ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hill jabs Dynamo right on the nose. Dynamo blinks but takes it well.

Dynamo moves into the clinch.
Hill tries for a takedown but Dynamo manages to get underhooks.

Hill manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Hill has his foot on Dynamo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dynamo works his way back into a safe position though.
Hill looks winded!
Dynamo tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard.

Dynamo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dynamo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hill swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dynamo trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dynamo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hill works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dynamo is looking to stand up but Hill won't let him.
Dynamo trying to control but Hill is working from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Rick Dynamo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Hill moves into the clinch.
Dynamo can't break the clinch.
Hill drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dynamo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hill fails to pull guard.

Hill decides to pull guard.
Dynamo won't allow Hill to get back to his feet.
Dynamo throws a big elbow that misses.

Dynamo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dynamo seems to have locked his on tight now - Hill screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dynamo, as he picks up the win!
