Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Van Der Sluijs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Der Sluijs comes to the cage accompanied by Redundant by Green Day. Ellis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Out Of Space by Prodigy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Michael Ellis told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Sluijs lands with an overhand left. Ellis misses with a takedown attempt - Van Der Sluijs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ellis shoots in for a double leg but Van Der Sluijs sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Van Der Sluijs lands a leg kick that knocks Ellis off balance momentarily. Van Der Sluijs connects with an inside leg kick.
