Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bayden Wood Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bayden Wood Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bayden Wood Jr !
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wood Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fuller as he jumps to the side.
Wood Jr jabs Fuller right on the nose. Fuller blinks but takes it well.
Wood Jr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wood Jr scores with a punch to the head.
Fuller misses with a head kick.
Wood Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Fuller needs to keep his hands up - Wood Jr had a free shot at his head there.
Fuller goes for a double leg but Wood Jr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wood Jr continues to drive forward.

Fuller pulls Wood Jr into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fuller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fuller is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $175 fee) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Fuller wants the takedown. Wood Jr is fighting it off but Fuller persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wood Jr 's guard against the cage.

Wood Jr 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fuller under the eye.

Fuller tries to close the distance and clinch but Wood Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good exchange - Wood Jr coming out on top.
Bayden Wood Jr seems to be getting the better of the standup.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fuller rushes Wood Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fuller looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Wood Jr tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Fuller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wood Jr .
