Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raging Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain Velasquez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Raging Bull's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raging Bull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cain Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Velasquez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bull keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Velasquez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Velasquez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bull has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Velasquez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bull - the referee stops the clock and Velasquez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bull. Velasquez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Velasquez shoots in looking for a takedown. Bull tries to sprawl out of it but Velasquez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bull manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Velasquez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bull looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bull looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bull!
