Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Boitsoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Boitsoff's choice of entrance music: My Domination. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Game!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boitsoff!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Boitsoff or perhaps it was just good defense by Game which made him look bad.
Game dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Game scores with a nice strike.
Game throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Boitsoff.


It looks like Dmitry Boitsoff has been cut.
Game misses with a head kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Game throws a sloppy head kick and Boitsoff moves out of range easily.
Game tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Game throws a low kick but it's checked well by Boitsoff.
Game swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Boitsoff shoots in for a takedown but Game shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Game looks for the body kick but Boitsoff saw that one coming.
Game slaps away a takedown attempt from Boitsoff, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nick Game has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmitry Boitsoff.
Boitsoff throws a big shot that misses.

No joy there for Game, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Boitsoff throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Game tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Boitsoff is in Game's guard.
Game has control of Boitsoff's left arm, preventing Boitsoff from doing any damage.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Boitsoff working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Game had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boitsoff defends it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Game keeping full guard, as Boitsoff tries to pass.
Game tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boitsoff looking to sit in guard and control but Game gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Game wants to pass the guard but Boitsoff is keeping the position.

Boitsoff is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Game is aware though and is defending well.

Boitsoff has his foot on Game's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Game works his way back into a safe position though.
Game wants to get up but he can't break Boitsoff's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Game is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Boitsoff has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Game can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Game loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Boitsoff working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Game doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Game manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Game wants to control from the top but Boitsoff keeps moving.

Boitsoff has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Game doesn't defend quickly enough and Boitsoff has managed to lock this one up! Can Game escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Boitsoff on a fantastic submission victory.
