Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pikku N�k�r�inen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Magri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). N�k�r�inen's entrance music is Juice Leskinen - Vaasankin veri vapisee. A fine choice. Charlie Magri has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pikku N�k�r�inen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
N�k�r�inen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Magri's head.
N�k�r�inen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magri's waist but Magri gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing N�k�r�inen off to one side.
Magri takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Magri throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magri takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Magri avoids a kick to the body.

N�k�r�inen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Magri pushes N�k�r�inen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, N�k�r�inen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

N�k�r�inen has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Magri!

We've been hearing that N�k�r�inen has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

N�k�r�inen shoots in looking for a takedown. Magri tries to sprawl out of it but N�k�r�inen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magri manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Magri seems to have recovered his senses.
Magri bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps N�k�r�inen's head backwards.
N�k�r�inen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
N�k�r�inen moves out of range of the strikes.
Magri misses with a straight left.
N�k�r�inen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Magri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Good leg kick by N�k�r�inen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

N�k�r�inen shoots in and bounces Magri off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Magri's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! N�k�r�inen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Magri throws a shot from downtown. N�k�r�inen moves away and avoids it.
Magri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but N�k�r�inen moves away.
N�k�r�inen sizes up Magri with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
N�k�r�inen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Magri looks to land a left hand but N�k�r�inen moved out of range nicely.
N�k�r�inen is looking to slow Magri down with leg kicks.
Magri throws a poor cross that misses
and N�k�r�inen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Magri throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
N�k�r�inen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Magri steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from N�k�r�inen. That one must have hurt.

N�k�r�inen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
