Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ball Sack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sack enables Peterson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sack manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Peterson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Peterson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Peterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sack has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peterson has managed to get both his arms back between Sack's legs - danger averted.

Sack is fighting off a takedown attempt but Peterson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sack to the mat. Sack regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Peterson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Peterson showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sack has hold of Peterson's hands but Peterson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peterson connects with a nice short shot to Sack's temple.

Sack is wriggling around trying to escape.

Peterson winds up and cracks Sack with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sack is looking for a sweep. Peterson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sack is breathing heavily.

Peterson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peterson.
