Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ball Sack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ball Sack! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Sack enables Peterson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sack manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Peterson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Peterson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Peterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sack has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peterson has managed to get both his arms back between Sack's legs - danger averted. Peterson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Peterson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Peterson controlling from the top position. Sack wants to control the position but Peterson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Peterson controlling the action here. Sack is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Peterson wants to stand up but Sack has a hold of him and won't allow it. Peterson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Nice strikes from Peterson there. Sack wants to improve his position but Peterson is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson is working for a kimura but Sack is defending it quite comfortably.
Peterson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sack has managed to free his arm - good work. Sack trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sack manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Peterson tries to stand but Sack is controlling from the bottom. Sack had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peterson defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sack's guard. Peterson stalling. Peterson trying to mount his opponent but Sack defends it. Peterson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sack is trying to maintain the position but Peterson is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sack moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off. Sack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Peterson. Peterson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peterson working the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peterson landing a few strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Peterson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Peterson dominated that round. That's time! Peterson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sack tries to clinch but Peterson moves away and Peterson counters with a single leg into guard. Sack didn't expect that. Sack is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Peterson is controlling him. Sack keeping moving, preventing Peterson from controlling successfully. Peterson wants to stand but Sack has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peterson trying to control the position from guard on top but Sack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sack can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Peterson controls the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sam Peterson. Sack tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sack tries to clinch there but Peterson circles away.
Sack misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sack throws a combination that misses and Peterson moves into the clinch. Come on Peterson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Sack misses with a short punch on the inside. Sack is fighting off a takedown attempt but Peterson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sack to the mat. Sack regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Peterson with a flurry of punches that miss. Peterson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Peterson wants to control from the top but Sack keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Peterson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Peterson showed some decent athleticism there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sack has hold of Peterson's hands but Peterson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peterson connects with a nice short shot to Sack's temple. Sam Peterson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peterson controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sack is in trouble now - Peterson has advanced to mount! Sack is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sack gets back to half guard. Peterson winds up and cracks Sack with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sack is looking for a sweep. Peterson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sack is breathing heavily. Peterson stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson wants to stand up but Sack is controlling the position.
Peterson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Peterson. Sack trying to hold on to Peterson's head to control him but Peterson postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Peterson dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sack shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Peterson counters by moving into the clinch. Sack is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Peterson is keeping busy. Peterson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Peterson taking a breather here. Sack looks to move to half guard but instead Peterson has passed into mount! Damn! Sack takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Peterson content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sack wants to try and get back to his feet. Peterson controlling the position easily from mount. Peterson wants to control the pace but Sack is squirming around nicely. Peterson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Peterson working Sack over with strikes here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sack tries to lock up and control but Peterson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Peterson scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sack?

That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sack has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Peterson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Sack bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Peterson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Peterson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Peterson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peterson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
