Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Schtrappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schtrappe comes to the cage accompanied by Nitzer Ebb - Violent Playground. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Lawler!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lawler throws the left hand but Schtrappe avoids the punch easily.
Schtrappe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lawler throws a series of punches but Schtrappe moves out of range.
Schtrappe walks into a straight right hand from Lawler.
An inside leg kick from Lawler misses.
Lawler's jab looks to have found its range, popping Schtrappe under the eye.
Schtrappe punishes Lawler's body with a nice straight punch.
Schtrappe avoids the body shot from Lawler.
Lawler swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Lawler throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schtrappe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schtrappe cracks Lawler with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lawler can't escape the position.

Lawler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schtrappe moves away.

Schtrappe feints and then cracks Lawler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lawler down.
Jacque Schtrappe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lawler's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Schtrappe cracks the inside of Lawler's front leg.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Schtrappe here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Schtrappe drops Lawler with a naaaaasty hook - Lawler is in real trouble here! Schtrappe dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacque Schtrappe!
