The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandela shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. De Niro could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. De Niro is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mandela sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. De Niro in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
De Niro is rocked!
It looks like Robert De Niro has been cut. De Niro is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mandela locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! De Niro is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jrock Mandela!
