Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takehiko Rokuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brusely Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brusely Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Rokuro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rokuro has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rokuro is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rokuro's back instead.

Silva is looking for the choke from the back position but Rokuro is controlling his hands well.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
