4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chester Man! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joikhaaja fails with a takedown attempt. Joikhaaja tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Man defends well and Joikhaaja ends up having to push Man into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Joikhaaja tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aslak Joikhaaja. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joikhaaja is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Man to keep the fight standing. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Man tries to pass the half guard into mount. Joikhaaja knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Man is taking a breather. Joikhaaja says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Joikhaaja is looking to control Man's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Joikhaaja avoid being mounted? The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Joikhaaja gets back to full guard.

Joikhaaja throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Joikhaaja has his takedown stuffed and Man counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Joikhaaja thinking. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joikhaaja pinned against the cage. Joikhaaja gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chester Man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Joikhaaja has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Man.
