Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Agasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Apollo Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agasi connects with a body shot that sends Anderson's belly button to the back.
Agasi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to avoid it but Agasi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anderson to the ground. Anderson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Agasi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Agasi moves out of range as Anderson throws a body kick.
Anderson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Agasi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anderson's guard.
Agasi trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
Agasi throws a big right hand that misses.
Anderson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Team Hopkins. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Anderson wants to stand but Agasi is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Agasi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ground and pound from Agasi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Agasi looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Anderson is avoiding damage well.
Anderson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Agasi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Agasi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Anderson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Agasi is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Agasi is thwarting Anderson's attempts to control the position.
Anderson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Agasi is staying active.
Anderson is in trouble now - Agasi has advanced to mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Agasi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Agasi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Agasi avoids the attempt from Anderson to control.
Agasi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Agasi looking to finish with strikes here!

Anderson wants to hold on but Agasi pushes him away.
Anderson is desperately trying to improve his position but Agasi has a good base and remains in mount.
Agasi landing strikes, looking to finish!
Agasi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Agasi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Anderson is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Anderson wants to control but Agasi is having none of it.
Anderson blocking the ground and pound.

Agasi lands a big elbow.
Anderson is still in real trouble! Can Agasi finish him?
Agasi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anderson is looking to escape.
Agasi looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Anderson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Armand Agasi!
Armand Agasi decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Apollo Anderson was interviewed post fight and said 'Um what can I say it is what it is congratulations to him, he was better tonight. But one things for sure ill be back.'.
