Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sarmith Creston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creston's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beat it. Jin Kim has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sarmith Creston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 30 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Creston as he jumps to the side.
Kim goes for a double leg but Creston avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Creston continues to drive forward.

Creston escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Creston fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kim shoots in and drives through. Creston sprawls well.
Sarmith Creston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim.
Kim tries for a takedown but Creston circles away easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Creston lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Creston throws a wild body kick that Kim sees coming a mile off.
Sarmith Creston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creston lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Jin Kim has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Creston pinned against the cage. Creston gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Creston misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Creston circles away from the clinch attempt.
Creston displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kim.
Creston lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kim takes a step back to recover.
Kim looks winded!
Creston connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kim tries to move into range but Creston moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kim looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Creston changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Creston gets caught flat footed, as Kim shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Creston is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim throws a big right hand that misses.
Kim postures up and lands a big shot to Creston's brow.

Creston is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kim is looking to work some ground and pound but Creston has wrist control.
Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Creston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Creston swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Creston is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kim gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Creston to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Creston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Creston postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Creston, into his guard.

Kim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Creston has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kim has managed to get both his arms back between Creston's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Creston is looking to sweep but instead, Kim has passed into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sarmith Creston dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jin Kim's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Creston fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kim has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Creston stuffs the takedown.

Creston shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kim manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Creston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Creston throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Creston drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kim manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Creston has Kim in his guard.
Kim wants to control from the top but Creston keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Creston has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kim doesn't defend quickly enough and Creston has managed to lock this one up! Can Kim escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Creston on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sarmith Creston!
