Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Slam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Slam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Terry! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Daniel Terry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Terry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Slam keeping hold of Terry's head, controlling as best he can. Slam trying to control here.
Slam is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Terry is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Slam wants to sweep here but Terry controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slam looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Terry stands and steps away. Slam gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Terry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Terry dives in and grabs Slam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slam pushes down on Terry's head and hops out. Terry shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Slam is trying to defend but Terry finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Terry tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slam controlling the position for now. Slam regains full guard. Nicely done. Terry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Slam seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Slam looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Terry wants to control from the top but Slam keeps moving. Slam manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slam controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slam prevents Terry from getting the reversal. Slam controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slam avoids the attempt from Terry to control. Slam tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Terry tries to lock up and control but Slam gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Slam controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adam Slam will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Terry pushes Slam up against the cage in a clinch. Slam breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Terry dives in and grabs Slam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slam pushes down on Terry's head and hops out. Slam takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Terry displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Terry lands with a kick to the temple. Slam shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" This has been an exciting period of action! Terry goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slam as he jumps to the side. Terry misses with a low kick.
Terry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slam, pushing him back against the cage. Terry looking for a takedown. Adam Slam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Terry. Terry lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Slam moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Slam working for a triangle but Terry defends it easily.
Slam striking off his back but it's not causing Terry any problems.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slam is on top in guard.
Terry looking to control.
Slam engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Terry looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Slam passes into side control.
Terry is breathing heavily. Slam controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adam Slam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Slam avoids the strikes from the bottom by Terry. Slam controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Adam Slam. Terry moves in looking to clinch but Slam pushes him off. Terry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Slam napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slam manages to work his way to half guard, despite Terry's best efforts. Slam is trying to maintain the position but Terry is very close to passing his half guard. Slam is trying to stand back up but Terry is controlling him
Slam is trying to control but can't.
Slam slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slam has his feet on Terry's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slam keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Daniel Terry will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Terry throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Slam. Terry pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Terry tries to clinch there but Slam circles away.
Terry wants to clinch up but Slam keeps it at a distance. Terry is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Slam's half guard. Slam is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Slam makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slam.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terry has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Slam is proving hard to escape from. Terry preventing the sweep. Slam is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Terry is controlling him. Slam is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Terry stopping the sweep attempt from Slam. Slam is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Terry scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Adam Slam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Slam slaps away a takedown attempt from Terry, before circling back to the center of the mat. Terry tries to clinch up but Slam circles away and keeps his distance. Terry closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slam manages to break the clinch.
Terry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slam avoids it really well and circles away. Terry tries for a takedown but Slam sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Adam Slam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Terry. Terry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Slam keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice sprawl there from Slam as Terry shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terry with a lazy takedown attempt and Slam counters with a nice double leg into guard. Terry can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slam controls the pace. Slam seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Terry for as long as he can get away with. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adam Slam. I think Slam has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
