Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Viktor Geist!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geist cracks a nice hook into Hicks's ribs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Geist.
Hicks takes a kick to the side of the head.
Geist cracks Hicks with a right hand to the side of the head.
Geist scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hicks shoots in but no luck this time.

Hicks shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hicks is looking to advance position but Geist won't allow it.

Geist wants to control but Hicks is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hicks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Geist keeps working.

Hicks is nestled in close to Geist, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Geist is refusing to be controlled, as Hicks sits in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hicks lands a nice short elbow.
Hicks is trying to control the action in half guard but Geist is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Geist makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Geist.
Hicks is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Geist has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hicks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hicks makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hicks keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Geist's head.

Geist has momentary wrist control but Hicks slips an elbow through the middle.

Hicks stands up over Geist, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hicks loads up on a big left hand. Geist felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hicks looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Geist can't hide his disappointment, as Hicks celebrates the victory.
