Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Brogden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brogden has chosen "The Bleeding" Five Finger Death Punch as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Brogden! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen looks to land a combination but Brogden avoids it well. Brogden is trying hard to land a takedown here. Allen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Brogden looks for a takedown but Allen sprawls well. Brogden blocks a head kick by Allen.
Allen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A jab from Allen does it's job there. Allen tries to bum rush Brogden with a series of wild strikes but Brogden uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Some wild striking there from Allen.
Allen drops Brogden with a right and a left! Allen comes rushing in but Brogden regains his composure and manages to keep Allen in guard.
Brogden is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Allen looking to pass the guard. Brogden is still in real trouble! Can Allen finish him? Allen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brogden's guard. Brogden seems to have recovered his senses. Allen with the ground and pound but Brogden uses the opportunity to regain guard. Allen wants to control from the top but Brogden keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brogden wants to sweep here but Allen controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen works over Brogden with some ground and pound from guard. Brogden keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully. Allen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brogden has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allen has managed to get both his arms back between Brogden's legs - danger averted. Allen tries to stand but Brogden is controlling from the bottom. Allen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brogden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Allen is one step ahead there. Allen wants to stand but Brogden is controlling his posture from full guard. Brogden has his foot on Allen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allen works his way back into a safe position though.

Allen prevents Brogden from getting back to his feet. Brogden is looking for a triangle here but Allen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Brogden wants to get back to his feet but Allen drags him back down. Brogden tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Allen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen moves into full mount! Brogden regains half guard. Allen postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Brogden to stand up. Allen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brogden closes the distance and clinches. Brogden jumps guard but Allen stands there with Brogden around his waist. Brogden gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mike Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Brogden. Brogden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Allen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brogden under the eye. Allen misses with a body shot.

A shot in the inside from Brogden. Allen has had enough of the clinch but Brogden keeps him there for the moment. A battle for position here, against the cage. Brogden stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Brogden misses with a body punch.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mike Allen. Brogden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Allen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brogden moves into the clinch successfully.

Billy Brogden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
