Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urho Kekkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Jacobs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Urho Kekkonen! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kekkonen's guard. Jacobs wants to control from the top but Kekkonen keeps moving. Jacobs has gone for a leg lock! Kekkonen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jacobs's guard. Jacobs looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kekkonen passes into side control.
Kekkonen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jacobs keeps working. Jacobs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kekkonen controls the position from side control. Jacobs tries to bench press Kekkonen off him but Kekkonen keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs is working hard here to advance position. Kekkonen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jacobs has escaped the position, nice work there. Jacobs is not content to let Kekkonen control the position. Jacobs is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Kekkonen is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacobs tries to reverse the position but Kekkonen maintains control. Kekkonen working for a submission but Jacobs is keeping him at bay. Jacobs really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kekkonen has hold of Jacobs's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jacobs manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jacobs can't escape the position.
Kekkonen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Jacobs regains half guard. Jacobs looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs looking for submissions off his back. Jacobs makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jacobs. Kekkonen wants to pass the guard but Jacobs is keeping the position. Kekkonen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jacobs is looking for a triangle here but Kekkonen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kekkonen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kekkonen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacobs gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jacobs is pressing down on Kekkonen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jacobs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kekkonen is aware though and is defending well. Jacobs has an active guard here but Kekkonen has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jacobs gets back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kekkonen trying to control the position from guard on top but Jacobs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Jacobs dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kekkonen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jacobs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kekkonen defends it easily. Jacobs keeping moving, preventing Kekkonen from controlling successfully. Kekkonen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Jacobs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kekkonen! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jacobs working for a submission but Kekkonen is keeping him at bay. Jacobs prevents Kekkonen from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs looking to control but Kekkonen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jacobs swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kekkonen is now in Jacobs's guard. A big mistake from Jacobs there, giving up the dominant position! Kekkonen trying to control the position from guard on top but Jacobs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jacobs has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kekkonen has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tim Jacobs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jacobs manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kekkonen seems to be looking for submissions.

Kekkonen is looking to take a break and control but Jacobs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jacobs moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jacobs tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kekkonen is aware though and is defending well. Jacobs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kekkonen defends well. Kekkonen wants to control from the top but Jacobs keeps moving. Kekkonen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jacobs has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kekkonen has managed to get both his arms back between Jacobs's legs - danger averted. Kekkonen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jacobs has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kekkonen is looking to defend but Jacobs has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kekkonen! Jacobs pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kekkonen taps out and this one is all over!
