The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Paulsen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Knuckle shoots for a takedown but Paulsen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Knuckle slips under a jab from Paulsen.
Chuck Knuckle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paulsen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Knuckle's head.
Knuckle scores with a one two! Paulsen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Knuckle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Paulsen finds it's way round the side to connect with Knuckle's head.
Paulsen swats away the attempt to clinch by Knuckle.
Paulsen drops his hands momentarily and Knuckle takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knuckle is trying desperately to land a takedown but Paulsen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Knuckle.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A very excited looking Morten Paulsen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
