The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emir closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is trying to get back to his feet but Emir has full control of the position and if anything, Silva has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Emir is working for a rear naked choke. Silva is not defending it well and Emir has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Silva refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Silva's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
