Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Carlsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Voigl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henrik Voigl!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Voigl clinches with his opponent.
Voigl is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Carlsen is defending well.
A frustrated look appears on Voigl's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carlsen is trying to break free.
Carlsen leaning his opponent against the cage.
Voigl stops a takedown attempt from Carlsen.
Carlsen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Voigl is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Carlsen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Voigl drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Simon Carlsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henrik Voigl.
Carlsen tries to circle away but Voigl has him pinned against the cage.

Voigl escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Voigl fails with a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Carlsen gets a double leg takedown into Voigl's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Carlsen gets to his feet - Voigl follows without any prompting.
Voigl takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Voigl tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carlsen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Voigl shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Carlsen counters with a head kick that drops Voigl to the mat! Voigl scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Voigl is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Voigl shoots and misses

and Carlsen shoots in for a double leg counter - driving through into a slam and Voigl is out! The slam has knocked him out cold! Devastating for Voigl but Carlsen is celebrating as the crowd goes wild!
