Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Langley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Three 6 Mafia - Side 2 Side. Langley has chosen inner ninja - Classified ft David Myles as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyrone Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ian Langley! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Langley is controlling him. Langley throwing strikes but missing. Langley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Langley has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted. Langley throwing strikes from guard but Jackson blocks nicely. Langley is in close to Jackson's body, working some short punches and elbows. Langley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Langley trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Langley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jackson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Langley controlling from the top position.

Ian Langley has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Langley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Langley. Jackson cracks Langley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Langley. Langley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Langley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Langley is putting a hurting on Jackson here, landing some big shots from side control. Jackson is trying to improve his position. Jackson is trying to control Langley's posture but Langley avoids it. Jackson is looking for a sweep. Langley trying to control the position but Jackson is working away. We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson is looking for a sweep. Langley in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Langley is putting a hurting on Jackson here, landing some big shots from side control. Jackson is not content to let Langley control the position. Langley scoring with punches and elbows. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. Langley landing strikes. Jackson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Langley connects with a decent elbow. Langley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working. Jackson is looking to regain half guard here but Langley keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Langley is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Langley pulls his head out easily. Langley winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Langley wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson wants to improve his position but Langley is controlling well.

Langley prevents Jackson from improving his position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Langley trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom. Langley is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Langley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Langley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Jackson enables Langley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jackson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Langley is one step ahead there. Langley throws a big elbow that misses. Jackson is trying to keep Langley in close.

Jackson keeping moving, preventing Langley from controlling successfully. Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Langley manages to get himself to full guard.

Ian Langley has got the better of the ground game so far. Langley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Langley swivels though and keeps the full guard. Langley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Langley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Langley looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Langley working a defensive guard but Jackson manages to pass into side control anyway.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ian Langley. Langley closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Langley pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Langley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tyrone Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Langley. Langley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Langley misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Langley has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Langley reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Langley taps out!
