And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira shoots in and gets a takedown into The Lion's guard.
The Lion is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oliveira is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Leto The Lion will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



The Lion bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Leto The Lion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Lion is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Oliveira sees it coming and defends easily.
The Lion looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The Lion lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Oliveira wants to control but The Lion is keeping busy.
The Lion throws a strike but Oliveira avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The Lion keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Oliveira's head.

The Lion arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Oliveira's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
