Carlyle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but de Cruz swivels and escapes.
de Cruz stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
de Cruz rushes Carlyle and presses him up against the cage.
de Cruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
de Cruz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carlyle.
de Cruz lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Carlyle is looking to close the distance but de Cruz sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Carlyle crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Carlyle is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
