The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Slyker has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Worner is trying to keep an underhook but Slyker manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Slyker slips a nice elbow through Worner's hands, connecting with Worner's forehead.

Slyker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Worner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Worner wants to improve his position but Slyker is controlling well.
Slyker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Worner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Slyker is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slyker winds up and cracks Worner with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Worner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Slyker is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Worner is hurt! He's hurt bad - Slyker fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Worner from any more punishment! Congratulations to Slyker! Great finish!
