Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyson Kane!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with a takedown attempt
and Li counters with a shoot takedown. Kane fights it but they end up in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kane working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Li.
Kane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Li controls the pace.
Li drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kane!
Kane wants to control but Li is keeping him busy.
Li bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Li dives in and scores a takedown into Kane's guard.

Li seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Li definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Li has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We're going to have a standup here because John Li wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kane feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Li's calf.
Kane lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Kane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Li controls the pace.

Li wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kane, who protects the arm well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Li counters with a shoot takedown. Kane fights it but they end up in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kane utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kane is looking to land body kicks.
Li misses with a double jab
and Kane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Li is just out of range.
Tyson Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane wants to clinch up but Li keeps it at a distance.
Kane lands with a cross.
Kane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Li takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Li throws a jab when Kane was well out of range.

Nice sprawl there from Li as Kane shoots in.
Kane ducks right into an uppercut from Li.
Li throws a poor cross that misses
and Kane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Li fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it.
Kane fails to land with a series of punches.

and Li counters with a single leg into guard. Kane didn't expect that.
John Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Kane.
Kane is breathing heavily.
Li working some strikes from top position.
Li not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Li might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Li moves into full mount! Kane won't be happy about that!
Li content just to control the position here.
Li is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kane to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kane shrugs it off.

Li tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kane really wants to buck Li off and get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Li scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Li moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kane takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kane pushes Li away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Li gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Li happy to just control the position for now.
Kane wants to get back to his feet but Li drags him back down.
Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Li tries to score with some ground and pound. Kane controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Li is chipping away with strikes.
Li is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kane's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kane on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The strikes coming from Li are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Kane is looking to regain half guard here but Li keeps moving and retains side control.
Li in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Li is putting a hurting on Kane here, landing some big shots from side control.
Li is staying tight to Kane's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Li cracks Kane with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Li immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Kane is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Li!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Li!
A relieved looking John Li thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
