The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronald wants to clinch up but Donovan keeps it at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donovan drops back looking for a leg! Ronald is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ronald manages to kick Donovan off! Donovan jumps back into Ronald's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donovan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ronald looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ronald looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ronald!

Donovan throws a right hand that Ronald ducks under and follows up with a left that Ronald also avoids with ease.

Donovan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ronald's waist but Ronald gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Donovan off to one side.

Donovan cracks Ronald with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Donovan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ronald to stand back up!

Donovan lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Ronald - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Donovan!
