1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reggie Jones! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wilkerson shoots in but no luck this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reggie Jones dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones looks to land a combination but Wilkerson avoids it well. Wilkerson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wilkerson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jones works over Wilkerson's head and body with a nice combination. Wilkerson has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wes Wilkerson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wilkerson shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Wilkerson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones clobbers Wilkerson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Wilkerson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Wilkerson tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Jones lands with a nice combination. Wilkerson backs away looking to recover. Wilkerson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Wilkerson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A nice combination there by Jones.
This has been an exciting period of action! Wilkerson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wilkerson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Jones misses with a series of wild punches.

Wilkerson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jones cracks Wilkerson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Reggie Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wilkerson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wilkerson drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wilkerson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilkerson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilkerson off to one side. Jones misses with the combination.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. No luck for Wilkerson with that takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilkerson misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wes Wilkerson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilkerson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Jones might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Wilkerson tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Wilkerson might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Wilkerson is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wilkerson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Wilkerson looks to clinch and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wilkerson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones cracks Wilkerson with a good jab. Jones drops Wilkerson with a left and a right! Oh, Wilkerson is hurt - Jones dives into side control looking to finish!
Wilkerson is rocked! Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilkerson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jones throws a left that rocks Wilkerson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jones dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Wilkerson regain composure!
Oh Wilkerson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position. Wilkerson seems to have got his legs back now. Wilkerson closes the distance but Jones moves to the side and Jones counters with a three punch combo that has Wilkerson backing up. Wilkerson nods at Jones to acknowledge the strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wes Wilkerson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones cracks Wilkerson with a good jab. Jones stalks Wilkerson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilkerson's face. Wilkerson staggers backwards, shaken. Wilkerson shoots and misses and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones misses with a combination
and Wilkerson counters with a head kick. Jab by Jones. Wilkerson moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilkerson. Reggie Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that's the end of the fight! Reggie Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
