Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth comes to the cage accompanied by Ice cube - It Takes A Nation. Josh Wentworth has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Wentworth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Omar Jackson! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jackson duly obliges. Wentworth tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes. Wentworth walks into a left hand. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wentworth takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jackson scores with a decent looking hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson scores with a sloppy right hand. Wentworth should have avoided that one.
Wentworth is rocked! Wentworth misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Oh Wentworth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wentworth takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Jackson throws a shot to the body.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wentworth moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off. A combination from Jackson does no damage. Wentworth seems to have got his legs back now. Wentworth slips under a jab from Jackson. Jackson lands with a good body shot. Jackson lands a left and a right that send Wentworth crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson throws the left hand but Wentworth avoids the punch easily. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson looks to land a combination but Wentworth avoids it well. Jackson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackson scores with a one two! Wentworth had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wentworth. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Wentworth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wentworth circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson lands a nice looking body shot.
Wentworth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Wentworth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson digs a good body shot into Wentworth's ribs. Jackson lands a jab-cross combination. Wentworth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jackson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Jackson cracks Wentworth with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wentworth falls to his knees and Jackson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omar Jackson! Omar Jackson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
