Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ron Jeremy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamar Lawal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. E.S. Posthumus Unstoppable kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Jeremy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamar Lawal! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeremy throws an overhand right that lands on Lawal's shoulder, as Lawal tries to avoid the shot. Lawal with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jeremy to score with a decent uppercut. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lawal has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Ron Jeremy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jeremy misses with a lunging right hand
and Lawal counters with a head kick. That will keep Jeremy thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Lawal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lawal misses with a low kick as Jeremy jumps back. Lawal feints and as Jeremy raises his hands in defense, Lawal changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Lawal drops back looking for a leg! Jeremy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jeremy manages to kick Lawal off! Lawal jumps back into Jeremy's guard. Lawal slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lawal trying to control the position from guard on top but Jeremy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jeremy is looking to stand up but Lawal isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawal sitting in guard, not really doing much.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jamar Lawal hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jeremy throws a looping overhand right but Lawal ducks down to avoid it. Nice defenses there by Lawal. Jeremy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jeremy misses the jab. Jeremy is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lawal's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Jeremy doesn't manage to clinch there - Lawal circles away.
Lawal cracks the inside of Jeremy's front leg. The fighters circling - Jeremy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jeremy ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jeremy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeremy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jeremy wants to clinch up but Lawal keeps it at a distance. Lawal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jeremy misses with a looping right. Lawal moves away from the strike by Jeremy. Jeremy misses with a lunging right hand
and Lawal counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jeremy! Jeremy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lawal on the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lawal looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lawal goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jeremy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lawal's guard! Nice work there by Jeremy! Lawal manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Jeremy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lawal keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jeremy's efforts to push away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jeremy prevents the takedown attempt.
Jeremy is trying to force a seperation but Lawal has the dominant position. Jeremy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jeremy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jeremy leaves Lawal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ron Jeremy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamar Lawal. Lawal displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jeremy throws out the jab. Jeremy misses with a hook
and Lawal counters with a thumping low kick. Jeremy doesn't manage to clinch there - Lawal circles away.

and Lawal counters with a low kick, right behind Jeremy 's knee. Lawal takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lawal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lawal working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lawal controls the position from side control. Lawal is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jeremy has escaped the position, nice work there. Jeremy tries to escape but Lawal is in control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lawal is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jeremy has escaped the position, nice work there. Jeremy is pushing Lawal's head away, looking to escape. Lawal manages to hold on to the position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamar Lawal dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lawal uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jeremy. Jeremy misses with a straight left. Jeremy throws the left hand but Lawal avoids the punch easily. Jeremy swings for the body but Lawal moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Jeremy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A low kick from Jeremy is predictable there and Lawal counters with a low kick, right behind Jeremy 's knee. Jeremy swings widly with a right hand
and Lawal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lawal takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lawal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lawal ducks under a wild hook from Jeremy. Lawal ducks under a wild hook from Jeremy. Lawal slips a straight right by Jeremy. Jeremy is looking to land body kicks. Jeremy throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

and Lawal counters with a good low kick that Jeremy was not able to check. Lawal moves away from the strike by Jeremy. Jeremy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jeremy tries to clinch up. Lawal uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jeremy. Lawal moves out of range of the strikes. Ron Jeremy is winning the standup battle so far. Jeremy throws a jab but it's blocked by Lawal. Jeremy misses with an uppercut. Lawal saw that one coming. Jeremy throws a lazy uppercut
and Lawal makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jeremy really felt that one! A head kick by Jeremy misses and Lawal counters with a thumping low kick. Jeremy swings away with a body shot that misses
and Lawal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jeremy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawal manages to avoid it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lawal tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jeremy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lawal somewhat. Jeremy takes a swing at Lawal's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeremy throws a body punch but Lawal moves out of range. Jeremy gets caught napping as Lawal dives in and scores a takedown. Jeremy manages to retain guard. Lawal trying to control but Jeremy is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lawal is stalling in the full guard. Lawal stands and throws Jeremy's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jamar Lawal has got the better of the ground game so far. Lawal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jeremy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lawal has hold of Jeremy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jeremy seems comfortable defending it but Lawal has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jeremy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jeremy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lawal couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jamar Lawal! A very excited looking Jamar Lawal rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
