Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide clinches with his opponent.
Slide gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Dias tries to strike from the bottom.
Dias escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Slide gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Slide tries to free his leg and advance position but Dias is retaining full guard.
Dias looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Slide trying to control the position from guard on top but Dias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Slide drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slide jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dias has his foot on Slide's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slide works his way back into a safe position though.
Slide avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slide wants to control from the top but Dias keeps moving.
Slide slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Slide is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dias has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dias is looking to reverse the position.
Slide working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Slide staying calm.
Dias is trying to improve his position.
Dias can't do much from the bottom here.
Slide tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slide has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Slide is breathing heavily.

Slide is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Dias is trying to escape and Slide transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Dias is forced to tap! Nice work there by Slide! Very nice indeed!
