Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva de Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Silva de Silva! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! de Silva scores with a nice right hand.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Loco. Loco controls the position. de Silva tries to improve position but can't. Loco scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at de Silva to see if he's OK. Loco wants to lay and pray for a moment but de Silva keeps working. de Silva dodges the ground and pound from Loco. Loco cracks de Silva with a big elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Loco is looking to take a break and control but de Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Loco landing strikes. Loco happy to just control the position for now. Loco grinds an elbow into de Silva's temple. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if de Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loco wants to lay and pray for a moment but de Silva keeps working. You can see the frustration on de Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Loco is really struggling to control de Silva but he's trying to hold on to the position. It looks like Silva de Silva has been cut. Loco lands a few punches from side control. de Silva tries to escape but Loco is in control. Loco misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That has opened up Silva de Silva's cut even more. de Silva is being controlled here. de Silva is looking for a sweep. Loco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Loco controlling the position from side mount. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
