Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Sloop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Leeder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leeder is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pantera - Cowboys From Hell. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Sloop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Van Leeder! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leeder ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sloop moves away. Leeder closes the distance and clinches. Leeder stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Leeder keeps control of Sloop as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sloop has had enough of the clinch but Leeder keeps him there for the moment. Leeder manages to break the clinch.
Leeder lands a nice shot to the body.
Sloop throws a left and a right that both miss
and Leeder makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Leeder's coach down at Flex GYM - Train hard feel good! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Leeder's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sloop on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Leeder fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Leeder gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sloop. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jab, jab by Leeder - just one landing. Leeder rushes Sloop and presses him up against the cage. Leeder lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sloop backwards. Leeder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Leeder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sloop moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Leeder drops Sloop with a beautiful combination! Sloop stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Leeder is looking for the KO!
Sloop is rocked!
It looks like Josh Sloop has been cut. Sloop drops his hands for a split second and Leeder immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Sloop face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Leeder follows up with a right hand that knocks Sloop into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Van Leeder! During a confident post fight interview, Van Leeder thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
