Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Pavil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Sappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sappe's choice of entrance music: Django by Luis Bacalov. Marcos Pavil has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Sappe!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Pavil. Beautiful body shot.
Sappe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pavil.
Pavil throws a hook but Sappe avoids it easily.
Pavil lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Bob Sappe has been cut.
Sappe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pavil connects with the punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sappe shoots in looking for a takedown but Pavil manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sappe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pavil is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sappe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pavil finds it's way round the side to connect with Sappe's head.
Pavil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sappe.
Good standup being displayed there by Pavil as he connects with a hook.
That has opened up Bob Sappe's cut even more.
Sappe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pavil drops Sappe with a beautiful combination! Sappe stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pavil is looking for the KO!
Sappe is rocked!
Pavil really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pavil darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Sappe's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Pavil before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcos Pavil!
