Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Quan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taza Brahim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Quan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taza Brahim! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brahim connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Juan Quan has been cut. Quan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brahim. A punch lands to the side of Quan 's head but he takes it in his stride. Quan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brahim napping and manages to drive through into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Quan tries for a kimura but Brahim is defending well. Brahim takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Brahim is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Quan tries to move to mount but Brahim blocks the move with his legs. Brahim on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Brahim is working to avoid the ground and pound but Quan connects with a decent elbow. Quan working the body and head with strikes. You can see the frustration on Brahim's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Quan has knee on belly momentarily but Brahim bucks him off and regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brahim looking for submissions off his back. Quan trying to control from half guard but Brahim is working away. Quan moves nicely into side control. Quan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Quan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brahim tries to get back to half guard but can't. Quan working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quan lands a decent elbow from side control. Quan tries for a kimura but Brahim is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quan cracks Brahim with a big right hand but Brahim just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brahim tries to control but Quan manages to take his back. Quan lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Brahim hold on?!
Quan scores with strikes from the back.
Quan is working the ground and pound. Can Brahim escape? Brahim just trying to survive but Quan is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Quan scores with punches and elbows. Brahim looking very determined here, making life difficult for Quan.
Quan punches Brahim on the ear.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quan scores with punches and elbows. Quan is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Quan gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Quan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Quan apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Quan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Quan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A big right from Brahim misses. A jab from Brahim misses. Quan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Quan is keen to just control but Brahim is a slippery customer. Ground and pound from Quan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brahim is trying to get back to full guard. Brahim looks winded! Quan uses his free foot to push down on Brahim's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Brahim. Quan working the ground and pound effectively.
Quan lands a nice shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quan landing strikes from the mount and Brahim is in trouble! Quan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Quan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Quan raining down shots from the mount! Quan putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Brahim is rocked! A big strike lands for Quan! That's really hurt Brahim and he's turned his back - Quan keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Quan jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Quan!
