Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hazlehurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ankit Gupta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hazlehurst might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Birdman - I Run This ft. Lil Wayne. Gupta has chosen T.I. - Go Get It as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Hazlehurst! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ankit Gupta! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hazlehurst drops Gupta with a nice combination! Hazlehurst dives into Gupta's guard, looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hazlehurst trying to control the position from guard on top but Gupta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hazlehurst pushes down on Gupta's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hazlehurst slows the pace down in half guard. Hazlehurst uses his free foot to push down on Gupta's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gupta. Hazlehurst jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gupta manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hazlehurst stands up and we're back to a striking position. Gupta misses with a body shot.
Hazlehurst uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gupta.
Gupta misses the body punch and Hazlehurst decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gupta's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hazlehurst seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gupta wants to stand and escape but Hazlehurst is having none of it. Gupta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hazlehurst. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hazlehurst passes into half guard. Hazlehurst gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Hazlehurst swinging wildly here.
Hazlehurst closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gupta's guard. Hazlehurst controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hazlehurst passes Gupta's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hazlehurst passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gupta! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gupta can do anything to dispel that myth. Hazlehurst landing strikes, looking to finish! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hazlehurst wants to finish this one by submission but Gupta is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hazlehurst. Hazlehurst landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hazlehurst postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gupta looks a forlorn figure.
Hazlehurst looking to control but Gupta is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gupta in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That has opened up Ankit Gupta's cut even more. Hazlehurst looking to secure an arm triangle but Gupta defends it well. Hazlehurst is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gupta is surviving well by controlling Hazlehurst's body position as best he can. Hazlehurst wants to finish this one by submission but Gupta is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hazlehurst. Gupta trying desperately to get to his feet.
Hazlehurst scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Gupta?

Ankit Gupta's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ankit Gupta's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Daniel Hazlehurst! A relieved looking Daniel Hazlehurst thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
