Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalli Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leonardo Norris!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall with a poor takedown
and Norris counters by moving into the clinch.
Norris has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hall uses from the top position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hall throwing strikes but missing.
Norris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hall throws an elbow that misses. Norris uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hall's guard. Nice move by Norris!
Hall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Norris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Norris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Norris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Norris postures up.
Norris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Norris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norris passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Norris looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Norris has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Norris on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hall.
Hall lands a left and a right that send Norris crashing to the mat, dazed. Hall thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Leonardo Norris has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Norris swivels and escapes.
Norris looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hall lands a right hand from hell, dropping Norris. Hall pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kalli Hall!
