The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cronos misses the shot to the body.
Del Geno misses with a hook. Cronos ducked under it nicely.
Cronos smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Del Geno doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Del Geno takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

letting Cronos counter with a right hand.
Del Geno fails with the takedown
and Cronos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Emilio Del Geno. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cronos cracks Del Geno with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Cronos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cronos connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Cronos is looking to score with low kicks.
Cronos stuffs the takedown attempt from Del Geno. Del Geno gets slowly back to his feet.

Del Geno with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cronos to score with a decent uppercut.
Del Geno dives in and grabs Cronos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cronos pushes down on Del Geno's head and hops out.
Cronos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cronos throws a right and a left that Del Geno avoids nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Cronos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cronos digs a good body shot into Del Geno's ribs.
The crowd cheers as Cronos lands an impressive looking overhand right. Del Geno doesn't seem phased though.

Cronos is squirming around, avoiding Del Geno's attempts to control the action.
Cronos wants to try and get back to his feet.
Cronos is wriggling around trying to escape.
Del Geno is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Del Geno breaks from Cronos's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Del Geno lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cronos hang on?
Cronos wants to control but Del Geno is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cronos is rocked!
Del Geno loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Cronos scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Del Geno land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Del Geno stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emilio Del Geno!
After the fight, Emilio Del Geno was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
