Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jacko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Dardar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dardar has chosen Trial by Fire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Jacko! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Dardar! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jesse Dardar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Dardar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dardar throws a head kick that misses. Dardar swinging wilding here.
Dardar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jacko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dardar but Dardar pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dardar fails to land with a series of punches.
Jacko tries to clinch there but Dardar circles away.
Dardar throws a series of strikes that have Jacko backpedaling.
It looks like James Jacko has been cut. Jacko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dardar paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fighters circling - Dardar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dardar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dardar looks to land a combination but Jacko avoids it well. Jacko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jacko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jacko passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dardar tries to improve position but can't. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jacko working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dardar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jacko working away. Dardar tries to bench press Jacko off him but Jacko keeps the position. Dardar is trying to buck Jacko off. Jacko misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Dardar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dardar scores with a sloppy right hand. Jacko should have avoided that one. Jacko moves out of range of the body kick from Dardar.
Dardar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jacko shoots in and drives through. Dardar sprawls well. Dardar throws a nice looking combination but Jacko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dardar swinging wilding here.
Dardar looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jacko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jacko tries to clinch but Dardar moves out of range. Jacko is looking to clinch. Jacko wants to clinch up but Dardar keeps it at a distance. Jacko wants to clinch. Jacko takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jacko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Jacko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jacko is looking to chop away at Dardar's legs. Jacko is looking to clinch. Dardar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jacko doesn't seem bothered though. Dardar lands with a cross. Jacko is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dardar.
Jacko is rocked! Jacko throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Dardar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dardar lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jacko - he's out on his feet here! Dardar follows up with another monster hook that separates Jacko from consciousness! Jacko falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Dardar stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesse Dardar! Jesse Dardar retains his light heavyweight title!
