The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutko throws a body kick that misses.
Dutko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rookie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dutko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rookie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Rookie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Bob Dutko has been cut.
Rookie's coach down at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $200 fee) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rookie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rookie gets tackled into the cage by Dutko. Dutko maintains the clinch.

Dutko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rookie is defending well for now.
Rookie stalling.
Rookie lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dutko or not.
Dutko is breathing heavily.

Rookie is looking to control Dutko's arms but Dutko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rookie has his back to the cage.

Rookie lands a big head kick that sends Dutko tumbling to the mat! Rookie takes a step backwards and waves Dutko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Dutko is rocked!
Dutko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Crack! A monster head kick from Rookie and Dutko falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Rookie!
