Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Pikachoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Roussimoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for David Pikachoo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Pikachoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Roussimoff!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roussimoff slips under a jab.

Pikachoo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Roussimoff manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pikachoo trying to control the position from guard on top but Roussimoff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pikachoo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Roussimoff is trying to keep Pikachoo in close.
Roussimoff wants to sweep here but Pikachoo controlling him for the moment.

Pikachoo stands up and waves to Roussimoff to follow him.
Roussimoff fails with the takedown

and Pikachoo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Roussimoff's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pikachoo trying to control but Roussimoff is working from the bottom.

Roussimoff is trying to control the position but Pikachoo postures up.
Pikachoo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roussimoff keeping moving, preventing Pikachoo from controlling successfully.
Roussimoff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of David Pikachoo.
Roussimoff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pikachoo's waist but Pikachoo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roussimoff off to one side.
Roussimoff tries a head kick but it misses.

Pikachoo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Pikachoo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Pikachoo tries for a takedown but Roussimoff manages to get underhooks.

Pikachoo gets control of Roussimoff's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pikachoo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Pikachoo has his feet on Roussimoff's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Pikachoo has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Pikachoo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Roussimoff counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pikachoo won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pikachoo is looking for a sweep.
What's Pikachoo going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Pikachoo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Pikachoo wants to get back to full guard.
Pikachoo wants to get back to his feet.
Roussimoff is pressing down on Pikachoo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pikachoo is holding on for now.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Roussimoff is trying to control. Pikachoo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Roussimoff tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pikachoo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Andre Roussimoff hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Roussimoff has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pikachoo lands a takedown into guard.

Pikachoo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Roussimoff looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Roussimoff looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Roussimoff!
Pikachoo manages to get back to half guard.
Roussimoff wants to control but Pikachoo is keeping him busy.
Pikachoo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roussimoff prevents Pikachoo from improving his position.
Roussimoff is just content to waste time from the top position. Pikachoo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roussimoff sitting in guard, not really doing much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Pikachoo dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Roussimoff counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Pikachoo fails to pull guard.
Roussimoff has had enough of the clinch but Pikachoo keeps him there for the moment.
Pikachoo stalling in the clinch but Roussimoff improves position.
Roussimoff wants a takedown.
Roussimoff is trying to drag Pikachoo to the mat but Pikachoo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pikachoo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roussimoff uses from the top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Roussimoff's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Roussimoff throwing strikes from guard but Pikachoo blocks nicely.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Roussimoff working his ground and pound in the gym.
Roussimoff pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pikachoo is keeping the position for now.
Pikachoo is pulling down on Roussimoff's head. It's preventing any offense from Roussimoff, at least for the moment.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Roussimoff closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roussimoff lands in his opponent's guard.
Pikachoo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Roussimoff is in all sorts of trouble here.

Roussimoff is rocked!

Pikachoo postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Roussimoff badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Pikachoo around the waist but Pikachoo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Pikachoo is the winner by TKO! Pikachoo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Pikachoo!
