Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pot Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy The Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pot Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy The Duke! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Head pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces The Duke back to the cage. Head follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Tommy The Duke has been cut. Head misses with a jab, cross combination.
Head lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Duke circles away quickly and effectively. The Duke gets a takedown into half guard. Head is looking to escape. The Duke is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Head doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time The Duke. The Duke uses his free foot to push down on Head's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Head squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The Duke trying to control but he's not successful this time. The Duke jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Head manages to avoid the submission attempt. The Duke wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Head, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Head tries to escape but The Duke is in control. The Duke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The Duke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The Duke wants to control but Head is keeping him busy. Head is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but The Duke has just dragged him back down to the mat. The Duke controls the position from side control. Head wants to get back to his feet but The Duke drags him back down. The Duke trying to control the position but Head is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Duke working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The Duke should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Head is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The Duke has an Americana. Head didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! The Duke is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if The Duke hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
