The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dich misses the jab.
Dich pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Doobney slips a jab from Dich.
Doobney defending well as Dich loads up on a big left hand.
Dich has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Doobney is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dich should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Doobney goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dich doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Dich tries to throw a body punch but Doobney avoids it by throwing Dich back against the cage.

Doobney blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dich swings wildly with an uppercut but Doobney uses good head movement to avoid it.

Doobney tries to land knees in the clinch but Dich avoids the damage to the body.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Nice body punch from Dich - that landed with a thud.

Doobney blocks an uppercut.
Dich has Doobney pressed against the cage, preventing Doobney from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dich might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doobney haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Doobney manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dich manages to get himself to full guard.
Doobney stands up from Dich's guard - Doobney perhaps looking for a knockout.
Doobney shoots in and gets a takedown into Dich's guard.
Doobney lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doobney with a nice head shot there.
Dich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doobney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Doobney gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Doobney looks to land a body kick but Dich moved away.
Dich throws a lazy right hand but Doobney sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Doobney takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dich misses with a hook
and Doobney counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dich is trying to control but Doobney passes into side control!
Doobney has hold of Dich's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dich seems comfortable defending it but Doobney has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dich is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dich is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Doobney couldn't care less - he's delighted!
