The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spider moves into the clinch.

Cropp shoots for a takedown but Spider saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Cropp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Spider.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cropp just misses with a elbow thrown towards Spider's brow.

We've been hearing reports that Cropp has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Cropp tries to stall but Spider uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Spider creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cropp's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cropp drops to his knees and Spider pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
