Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenneth Monet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Dunsmore! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunsmore looks to land a left hand but Monet moved out of range nicely. Dunsmore rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Monet moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Monet walks into a jab. Monet cracks Dunsmore with an open hand slap. Monet fails with the takedown. Dunsmore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dunsmore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Monet is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Monet is trying to escape the mount.
Dunsmore takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Monet has given up his back. Will we see Dunsmore going for some submissions?

Monet is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunsmore is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Monet knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Monet for a finish. Dunsmore looking for the choke from the back. I really don't envy Monet right now.
Dunsmore trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Monet doesn't escape. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Dunsmore's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Dunsmore keeps control of the position as Monet tries to break free.
Monet covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Dunsmore lands shots from the back. Dunsmore working for the choke. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Dunsmore.
That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Dunsmore's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Monet wants to escape the position.
Dunsmore scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Monet is looking for a way out. Monet wants to escape the position.
Dunsmore has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Monet. This has been an exciting period of action! Monet won't enjoy being in this position. Dunsmore looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Monet is tapping - it's over boys! Dunsmore picks up the submission victory!
