Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Cockenschtuff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Bellator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cockenschtuff comes to the cage accompanied by Wynona's Big Brown Beaver by Primus. Bellator has chosen A Lesson Never Learned as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lester Cockenschtuff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Bellator! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellator shoots for a double leg takedown but Cockenschtuff sprawls well. He's pushed Bellator's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bellator throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bellator closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cockenschtuff is trying to control but can't.
Cockenschtuff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cockenschtuff looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bellator is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cockenschtuff sees it coming and defends easily. Bellator is looking to take a break and control but Cockenschtuff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bellator winds up and cracks Cockenschtuff with a swinging punch to the side of the head. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bellator working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Bellator thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cockenschtuff's head. Cockenschtuff keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Bellator is thwarting Cockenschtuff's attempts to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lester Cockenschtuff just wasn't active enough. A looping hook to the body misses from Bellator. Cockenschtuff does a little dance to reset his feet. Bellator darts in looking for a takedown but Cockenschtuff gets double underhooks and turns Bellator into the cage. Cockenschtuff digs a right hand underneath Bellator's ribcage. Bellator let out a lung full of air as it connected. Bellator looks winded! Bellator swings away with an uppercut that misses.

It looks like Frank Bellator has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bellator blocks a punch to the side of the head.
