Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ib Voigle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ib Voigle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ib Voigle!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Voigle.
Voigle tries to bum rush Watt with a series of wild strikes but Watt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Voigle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Voigle prevents the takedown attempt.
Voigle has a couple of punches blocked by Watt.
Voigle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Watt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Watt decides to stand up.
Watt avoids the head kick by Voigle.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Voigle pulls guard successfully.

Watt distracts Voigle with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Watt is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Watt gets to his feet - Voigle follows without any prompting.
Watt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Voigle is fending him off so far but Watt persists. Nope, Voigle circles away and we're back to standing.
Voigle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Watt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Watt tries to free his leg and advance position but Voigle is retaining full guard.
Voigle is trying to keep Watt in close.

Watt wants to control from the top but Voigle keeps moving.
Watt won't allow Voigle to get back to his feet.
Voigle has Watt pulled in close to control his posture.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Voigle shoots for a double leg takedown but Watt sprawls well. He's pushed Voigle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Watt shoots in for a takedown but Voigle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Watt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Michael Watt will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Watt lands with a kick to the temple. Voigle shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Voigle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Watt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Voigle wants to get back to full guard.
Watt slows the pace down in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watt uses his free foot to push down on Voigle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Voigle.

Voigle takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Michael Watt dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Watt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Voigle, pushing him back against the cage.
Voigle lands a knee to the body.
Voigle pulls guard effortlessly.
Watt drops back looking for a leg! Voigle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Voigle manages to kick Watt off! Watt jumps back into Voigle's guard.
Voigle is trying to keep Watt in close.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Watt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Voigle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Watt looking to sit in guard and control but Voigle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Watt throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Watt keeping moving, preventing Voigle from controlling successfully.
Voigle tries to free his leg and advance position but Watt is retaining full guard.
Watt looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Voigle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Watt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Voigle has Watt in his guard.

Watt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Watt stops Voigle from standing up.
Watt forces his way into half guard.
Watt working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ib Voigle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Michael Watt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ib Voigle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
