The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ask tries to clinch but Ioptoa moves away

and Ioptoa counters by clinching up.
Ask misses with a knee strike.
Ask tries to land a knee to the head but Ioptoa blocks with his arms.
Ask is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ask lands with a left to the head.

Ask is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ioptoa can't fight it off and eventually Ask manages to take the fight to the floor. Ioptoa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ask must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ioptoa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ioptoa wants it to stay on the feet.

Ioptoa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ioptoa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ioptoa has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Ioptoa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ioptoa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Mini Ask seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ask is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ioptoa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ask shoots in looking for a takedown. Ioptoa tries to sprawl out of it but Ask keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ioptoa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ioptoa seems to have got his legs back now.

Quita Ioptoa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mini Ask is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
