Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rosen Strasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rosen Strasser! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Black drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Black has gone for a leg lock! Strasser slips out almost immediately though and dives into Black's guard. Strasser stands up and waves to Black to follow him. Black takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Strasser throws a one two combo.
Strasser throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Black swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black fails with a takedown attempt. Strasser throws a one two combo.
Black misses with a hook
and Black takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jab from Strasser. Strasser lands an overhand right. Black dodges the punch combination from Strasser.
Strasser has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Black shoots in but Strasser avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice shot lands for Strasser. Rosen Strasser is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strasser dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Black misses with a series of wild punches.
Strasser lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Strasser moves out of range of the leg kick from Black. Strasser defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Black. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Black. That's going to take a lot out of him. Black is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Strasser. Nice jab there from Strasser.
Black is rocked! No luck for Black with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strasser stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Oh Black is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A punch combination from Black misses. Black seems to have got his legs back now. Strasser connects with a good right hand that stumbles Black. Black circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Black throws a body punch but Strasser moves out of range. Strasser leaves Black with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A jab from Black does it's job there. Black's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Strasser connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Black scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Black throws a combination that misses and Strasser counters with a crisp right hand that drops Black! Strasser lets Black back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Frank Black has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Black looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Black shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strasser defends it nicely. Black goes for a double leg but Strasser avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Strasser continues to drive forward. Strasser lands a right hand that snaps the head of Black backwards. Strasser breaks the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Black looks to land a combination but Strasser avoids it well. Strasser connects with a nice looking jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rosen Strasser dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Black's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Strasser connects with a body shot that sends Black's belly button to the back. Black shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Strasser as he avoids it easily. Strasser connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Black momentarily.
Strasser scores with a decent looking hook. Strasser misses with a few strikes there.
A swing and a miss from Black. Strasser avoids a kick to the body.
Strasser has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Black takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Black shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strasser sprawls well. Strasser wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Black gets slowly back to his feet. Strasser fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Rosen Strasser seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strasser pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Black back to the cage. Strasser follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Black throws a right and a left that both miss. Frank Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Black takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Strasser connects with a body shot. Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Strasser's waist but Strasser gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Black. That's going to take a lot out of him. Black walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Black fails to land the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strasser dances in with a quick combination. Black is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Strasser snaps Black's head back. Black stumbles backwards against the cage. Strasser steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Black's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Black just didn't come prepared.
