Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Bautin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bautin has chosen Lobotomy by The Ramones as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sergei Bautin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergei Bautin!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautin avoids the head kick by Tavares.
We've been told by Tavares's head coaches at Brazilian Elite Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A right-left combo lands from Tavares.
It looks like Sergei Bautin has been cut.
Tavares throws a head kick that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tavares throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bautin misses with a body kick.
Tavares is looking to slow Bautin down with leg kicks.
Tavares throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bautin.
Tavares goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A good leg kick by Tavares.
Bautin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bautin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bautin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tavares.
Tavares with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bautin looks winded!
Bautin misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tavares rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bautin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tavares connects with an inside leg kick.
Tavares fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good shot there by Tavares.
Tavares cracks Bautin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bautin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Tavares pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bautin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thiago Tavares!
Thiago Tavares seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
