Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Madman!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Madman moves into the clinch.

Black is trying to maintain a safe position but Madman gets an underhook and turns Black into the cage.

Black shoots in looking for a takedown but Madman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Black's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Madman tries to pull guard but Black holds him up against the cage and eventually Madman drops back down to his feet.
Black could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Black tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Madman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Madman lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Madman jumps into guard, dragging Black to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Black decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Black changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Madman tries to avoid it but Black manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Madman to the ground. Madman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Madman throws a head kick but Black moves out of range.
Black tries to score with a low kick but Madman moves his leg out of the way.
Madman misses with a body shot.

Madman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Black, pushing him back against the cage.
Black looking to slow down the pace here.
Madman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Black smiles and moves away.
No luck for Black with that takedown attempt.

Madman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Black as he avoids it easily.
A combination from Madman does no damage.
Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Black counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Black shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Madman as he jumps to the side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Black dives in and grabs Madman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Madman pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Madman has managed to clinch.

Madman breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Madman dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mike Madman's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Madman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Black.
Black shoots in looking for a takedown. Madman tries to sprawl out of it but Black keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Madman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Madman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Madman lands a good knee to the midsection. Black won't want to take too many of those.
Madman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Black backwards.
Madman keeps control of Black as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Madman breaks from the clinch.
Madman circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Black drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Madman follows Black to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Madman!
During a confident post fight interview, Mike Madman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
